Yunji Gong

공윤지는 시각 예술 분야 예술교육실천가로서 여러해 동안 다양한 장르의 국내외 예술가들과 협업해 예술을 통한 사회 참여를 해왔다. 그는 대중들이 감상, 체험, 표현 등의 미적경험을 통해 각자의 이야기를 시각화하고 상호작용하는 과정에 관심이 크다. 이에 동시대 담론을 탐구하고 표현하는 통합예술교육프로그램을 통해 예술을 매개로 하는 다양한 만남을 이어왔다.

최근에는 예술을 매개로 경험하는 생태적 전환 과정에 관심을 갖고 교육과 저술활동에 집중하고 있다. 2023년에는 기후위기 시대에 예술로 공존하는 방법을 탐구한 『우정의 언어 예술(The Language Art of Friendship)』을 출간했고, 2022년에는 19세기 말 영국의 자연을 그린 시그림책 『멀고도 가까운 노래들(Songs of Near and Far Away)』 한국어판에 해제를 썼다. 현재 이화여자대학교 문화예술교육원에서 강의를 하고 있으며, 통합예술교육 플랫폼 얌지얌지를 운영한다.

As a teaching artist in the visual arts field, Yunji Gong has collaborated with domestic and international artists of various genres for many years to engage in social participation through art. She is interested in how the public visualizes and interacts with their stories through aesthetic experiences such as appreciation, experience, and expression. Therefore, she has engaged in various encounters through art-integrated education programs that explore and express contemporary discourses.

Recently, she has continued her education and writing activities with an interest in the ecological transition process through art. She is the author of 『The Language Art of Friendship(2023)』, which explores how to coexist through art in times of climate crisis. She currently teaches at the Center for Arts and Culture Education of Ewha Womans University and runs a YAMJIYAMJI Integrated Arts Education Platform.
